I need 1x 1972 Mk1 V6 Gt Capri rear quarter guard badge for my wifes Gt project, I have bought a pair of repo XA Gt badges but the pins are in a different spot & look different & I am not keen a drilling an extra hole or sticking them.

IIRC the South Oz guy is out of them and can't get any more. I have one original one left if you get stuck. JR 0409 091 252. A delete capri means the badges are in the middle of the large part of the qtr panel (where the XL badge is on 4cyl). There are no stripes, no bonnet blackout and the grill is silver, you also usually miss out on radio, and left mirror (which were tecnically options)

Bugger i should have bought more when I had the chance. Thats about it JR .Im putting the super roos on and paintingg the bonnett but deleted the stripes(sorry)..Oh dont forget the mudflaps was add as well. I got the ford specs from the factory to see what was fitted .Maybe youre wife should do the same. But the dealers do strange things to them normally once they get hold of them.

I checked the b2020 part number against what already have & unfortunatley it is the same of which is the XA GT boot badge.
Gtv6capri if you are interested in parting with the 1 badge you have I would be more than happy to take it off your hands & pair it up with the 1 I have, please let me know what you for it if you will let it go.
The Gt Capri we have does not have a left hand mirror as standard but I have a spare from my Xb Gt of which looks the same so that will be used & it is also a factory auto of which I think there were only 163 made in 72 but it did have a radio not that it is there now just the hole were it was.
The original colour was copper bronze & had been painted light blue but we hate the blue & the copper bronze makes it look short & fat, but I will post some pics up in 4 or 5 weeks when we put it back into colour.
