my escort gets axle tramp (shaking in the rear right?)

when i try a hard launch, or drop the clutch a little hard.

it used to get engine tramp (yeah i know) but new engine mounts fixed that fine.

how can i go about sorting it?

Get some decent rear springs, shocks and bushes. I run Kings with anti rebound leaf, Koni shocks and Superpro bushes. No tramp, but a pretty expensive exercise. You'll be looking at $1150-1200

Could take the lo-tech old school option:- Tramp Bars. Won't fix your inherent setup problems, but may help a little off the line.....

Would definately recommend taking Wozzas' line of approach, you will expereience a whole new world of chassis dynamics where you can place the car on the road considerably more accurately - and a safer drive too !

the biggest mistake i made was not putting the konis in soon enough.

Get some front and back and you'll notice the difference. much smoother over the standard gear.

Ive got some old school tramp rods
$30 and you can have them
but you will need to organise the freight
