Theres a pair of sundowner bubble windows with seals on gumtree perth at the moment (not mine) can't see the stamp but pretty sure they're the real thing going for $20, bargain!!!! Not sure on posting a link, under escort, various old car parts.
Hope they find a good home, don't see them too often....
Cheers Drew......

They are available brand new in any quantity from the original manufacturer.
Saw them on ebay AU a few days ago.
If not currently listed, check completed listings.

Didn't think they'd last long.....
Good news on the reproductions, now if they'd only start remaking sundowners to go with them
Cheers Drew.....

I thought the originals were glass. But I will probably get a pair for a Mk2 I am restoring.

The originals were definitely Perspex.
Also could buy similar for the rear door windows.

Good idea about the re making the Sundowners. Please put me down for a 2 litre in Wedgewood with some nice deep dished Hotwires. Just like my best mate bought brand new.

All of my sundowners had glass ones.... Always regretted selling them if only I'd had a barn to store them....
Cheers Drew...........

Sundowner side bubbles were glass. There have been Perspex replicas available since the late 70's. Cheers, David.

Hi Guys,
My friend who once owned the Sundowner confirms the factory fitted side bubble windows were glass.
However there were Perspex versions also available aftermarket.
Apologies about my memory loss.
