I have thought that too.... thinking i want to keep it all ford for now..... could u explain the rear trailer arms abit more? Pictures? Coils im cool with.

If you want to keep all ford a Zetec is another option. It's a ford engine and I have seen plenty of people do these conversions.

Why not pick up a smashed up falcon eco-boost, transplant engine and box, then make up paddle shifts for around column, if you want to keep it ford. This is what im thinking for my mk2, they make as much power as a cosworth (virtually) modern technology, people in US/UK tuning them well too!!!

well i have gone back to pinto turbo, efi set up...... i have never built or rebuilt an engine before. done heaps of other car work though... can someone put me in the right direction?

Theres a good book couple of mates in uk have used to build pinto turbo from, think its called ford sohc tuning etc, can probably get it from pitstop book shop in WA
