looks awesome, what colour are you thinking of painting it. also interested on this engine package your planning, always liked the way you've done stuff different to others

Thanks for the comments guys and help on front hubs, once the shells finished I'll get stuck into mechanicals and working out exactly what they are.
I've now painted the shell and all hanging panels, just need to flat them back and buff everything up. Then do all the blackouts around windows.
Hopefully I can get a new pic or two over the weekend.
 
sundowner, yes same turbo that I was going to install on my Blue Escort.
nathan, the cabin is black which I'll continue with for simplicity but will paint out engine bay at some point when I have the engine removed, although it looks bad in the pics, once I'd cleaned it up it was probably the best paintwork on the car. 
Mish, I've painted it white to keep it looking clean and make any repairs easier.

looking good rhys. keen to go to another track day after i finish off the new fuel setup.  will be good to have another esky out.

It's all painted now bar the engine bay.
Couple of pics, bit hard to get anything decent where its sitting. Will update once panels are on.

Yes still progressing but at a slower rate. Been working on cooling side of things. Bit of cutting grinding and welding and I now have the intercooler sitting where I want it and a larger radiator fitted. I hope to paint the engine bay or atleast have it in primer this weekend.
 
Whole front end is out and I'm organising a 5stud setup for front. Once I have that in I'll be able to do some measurements to order the rims in correct offsets front and rear.
 
After that its mostly mechanical and electrical.
 
Have got more pics, but nothing really worth whacking up yet.

Minor update,
Enigne bay is painted after cut/shutting rad support area to suit a LC/LJ 6cyl radiator.
Front air openings enlarged for more flow to intercooler and radiator.
 
Now looking to paint Cross member and suspension bits and put them back in to get it rolling again. Steering rack and brakes still to be sorted along with a whole host of other things.

I also run an Lj 6 cylinder radiator in my car. I am not sure what is planned for the space infront of the radiator, although I had to move my engine back 25mm from the standard location to fit some decent sized fans to stop my car overheating in traffic.
