Also depends upon engine size as 2lt is heavier than the 1.3/1.6 Kent engines... ie 2lt Ghia is around 1004kg from memory...
And early mk2 vs late also matter as earlier are lighter again (less intrusion bars in the doors at least...)

How can a Ghia weight less than a base model sedan?? And second, the weight conversion is incorrect.
