Santa,
are you using a standard cossy loom???

and i am not sure if that alternator will be good enough.

on the starter motor the outer plug is for positive from the battery... (left screw plug based on pic )

and the flat male connecter is for the ignition. (top plug based on pic)

(im pretty sure) hope that made sense!

Its good to see some progress again Its worth taking time to get the electrics right, there's nothing worse than chasing electrical gremlins. I'd be going for a decent Bosch alternator somewhere around 75-95amps with an engine management system onboard

Cheers Ty, Im not using a cossy loom I have a universasl loom which wiil need some chopping and changing.

It feels good to be getting something done on it again thats for sure Phil
Would a xe/xf alternator up to the job?

I'd be going later than xe/xf...anything with the 2 pin injector type plug on the regulator. I thing EA-EL hd them as well as Magna's,Commodores etc.

After a FEW hours sanding the arches are blended.










A litle bit more may be needed but it can what till Im ready for paint

hey mate, what sorta loom is this, and where did you get it from? im starting to think about the wiring for the sr20 into my wiring, and havn't decided if i want to custom make it, or adapt something else.
