I'm busy by restoring a Watford Cheetah 1962. Engine is an HP 15 Ford from the 50s.
Perfect or Anglia mechanic base. 
I have no Tachometer cable. I didn't know how te change it
Just two questions :
 
1) Where do I have to plug it.... on the engine, gearbox, alterno ?
2) I have a tachometer Smith and son with a unsual plugin system... Where May I find a cable?

Hello and welcome, not sure where you're located but being an Australian site most of our answers or solutions will be from here.
At this point I'd say it'd be easier to have one custom made, plenty of places around that could do it like these guys perhaps.
