Hi, I'm wondering if anybody does concourse quality replica interior covering in Australia, preferably Nsw.

Im doing a orginal factory rebuild pf a 76 Mk2 Escape with factory Rally pack interior

picture? I just googled it, It's like the Sedan version of the Sundowner?  never even heard about this version before now? Don't recall seeing it in the Sporting escorts book, Google says only 400 were made.

The escape model is quite rare, from what i have heard most were turned into rally cars. I have been try to find one complete which has been a impossible task

Lucky mine is almost completely factory orginal beside the full interior has been upholstered.
Im currently doing a full body restoration and Im trying to find someone who does concourse quality upholstery work to get it back to standard

I think the interior you're looking for is GL spec. Rallye pack was a handling option and had the trim level the car it was based on, GL, Ghia etc. Tacho dash and sports steering wheel were the only differences.
 
Is the interior image shown of the actual car? or an Australian model?
Looks like four door aussie Ghia or UK spec GL/XL door cards to me in which case it'll be different to what you're after.
 
The spotlight on Escort book would be your best bet, sorry mines MIA in the spare room at the moment. Best to get a correct ID before looking for or speaking to suppliers.
 

Thanks for your reply, after more research the interior is the same as what the Gl and L models

This new picture is the same interior that was in the car, what i have now has been upholstered in the wrong colour tan and not perforated fabric on the seats and wrong patterning

The picture was of a 4 door Aussie ghia, which is slightly different

Also have ordered the spot light on escorts book, Thankyou

More trying to find some that specialises in refurbishing interiors back to factory styles, if someone is doing that kins of work

There was a guy on ebay doing the two door roll top trims, only in black though, aussie muscle car parts maybe? It was a while ago I was looking.
The Capri guys had someone prepared to make door trims also, maybe one of them could chime in or a search of the site may dig something up.
 
Seat vinyl should be available ex UK a trimmer should be able to fit it locally.

There was a guy in Sydney who does reproduction 2 door roll top door trims, About $800 a pair, can't remember what colour choices were available, tho. Looked at them for my RS but didn't have the budget at the time. len

I used to own an escapee some 18yrs ago, it was a resto job back then. The interior I fitted into it was from a denim pack with orange and redish stripes that matched the outside stripes. There is pics on here somewhere of it. I wish you the best in the resto as they are so rare now, I converted mine to pinto as well .
