dont tell me about the welding.
You'd need a fair bit of gear to make a 20ft container worthwhile.
I'm sure I read somewhere you can have your itesms sent with otherpeoples, in part of the container.
What about talking to Yesterford or Taffs in Adelaide, or the Escort guys on FB?
Many of those seem to import container loads of stuff direct from UK (especially TAffs), with gearboxes and Duratecs in particular. Perhaps you can pay some $$ to contribute to their next shipment and have it included?
 

You not wrong about the welding. I just want to get it moving and see some good progress. Been way too long now and itching to see some progression. I picked up the left rear light section as mine has taken a little hit. So found some on FB and bought the parts i need. Just got to wait till lockdown is finished so i can take a drive and pick parts up. I may put a message on facebook as i am part of all them groups now. Im sure there is someone who can lend a hand. They are all ways good for that. 

Well engine finally here. Not cheap but had to be done. Now need to find a decent person for the bodywork to be done as I think the door hinge panels might prove to be a pain. So I'm looking. Did contact HP Motorsportbefore I moved out of Sydney but no response. So don't know what happened there. Will keep trying to find someone else to help. Just want to get this van done. Moving house didn't help. As that work took over the project. 
So now project time. Any help welcome for body work people.

Engine and parts finally in my shed.

Now I need to order a bucket load of parts. Anti tramp, compression struts, panhard rod, all the usual goodies. Pedal box with hydraulic clutch. Not going to be cheap to get that lot over here. Still need some more panels swell. Rear valance, front scuttle panels. And the list goes on.
