Great choice!  .....   even better if this is the original colour, and a very safe "be seen" colour too.
Dark cars get hit much more than light coloured cars !

According to Ford, there were just the 18 cars in '71 in Yellow Glo and just the one with my combo/options. So I'm not varying it at all from Factory.

Perfect ! I had reservation when I first laid eyes on my "Wild Plum" Delete special D-Port, but 5 mins later assured myself I would have picked that colour if it was 1972 and placing a new car order !
New paint needed one day.

Yellow Glow is a classic Ford colour.
Should really be pleasing when complete.
I wonder sometimes who picked colours and why some were common across the range of Ford cars both Aussie built and of English origin?

I'm obviously biased, but Yellow Glo is the pick of the yellows they used. Always been happy that mine is yellow.

........  and so you should be ! ........  it's your choice that matters and keeping it original colour is an extra bonus !

I've been led to believe most of the colours in the vast choice seen here in the "Build Your Car" section, are exclusively Australian, and seen on Capri, Escort, Cortina and Falcon.  It seems to be verified by the few times I checked the UK Colour Charts and not seen any/many of the bright in-your-face diverse colours we have here in Oz

agreed, thats a great period color and suits the Capri well.
Funny that Aus gets the bright colors, and UK the drab.
Must be to match the weather, we get blue skies:

I love this blue, possibly my favourite of all the colours.

Kris nice to see you haven’t given up on your cars restoration.
Mine is also 12/71 build lp23862
Is your number higher or lower?
Looking at your parts painted see the tail shaft wasn’t there.
Is it a single piece or two pieces?
You didn’t mention if you were painting acrylic?
