If youve done all that work yourself, you certainly dont need a panel beater!  Looks great.
Youd be surprised how easy painting is in principle; secret is PREPARATION and not hurry any steps.  Its still a lng tedious haul, but worth it,  I learned the old way of night school at Dandy and Frankston TAFE, which is the best way, but it's ridiculouusly expensive these days but newbies have the advantage of the internet, utube and Dr Google!  Practice on scrap metal or scrap panels is one way to self learn.

The more you think it's a rare car it kind of limits your attempts at bodywork. I see a car a chunk of sheet metal and the metal needs fixing regardless it's novelty or scarcity . As Beevee says practice on scrap panels, and watch those custom fabricator shows on yt etc . It's the same with welding and filler work. Prep is the hardest part, painting is simple !! I learnt panel work in my 20s thru my trade as a composites laminator, as we need to make molds from anything suitable and body filler to get it right

Thanks guys, but there is no way that I am doing that body work! Happy to pay for it to be done.

Only the drivers A post was rusted at the bottom, so that has been cut out and replaced.
Both sills removed, some damaged bits replaced. Otherwise no rust.
Rear arches are cut, with new repair panels from Expressed. This includes new outer wheel arches.
Front wings are getting reused.
New skin only for the valance.

All media blasted with no rust to the under carriage. (lived on a raised wooden floor most of its life)

nice seeing new panels going on Krusto.
Does it look like the front guard has been welded onto the door with the tab, then the panel gap is going to be cut afterwards? Would be a neat way of getting a uniform door gap all the way down.

This was a couple of weeks ago, mocking up the fitment and gaps. Hopefully they are now welded in place!
