Hi all,

I'm trying to track down some details on the above parts. Does anyone know what these might be off?

I came across this page, which gives some indication on what models the Weber 32 (not 32/36) came one, so I'm thinking the inlet manifold is off the same?

Cheers in advance.

Mk2 Escort Ghia (16002V motor) from intro till 6/76. If the carb was from the same car should have a small metal tag under one of the top cover screws which will indicate man or auto.

Hi Phil,

This is exactly the detail I was after. Unfortunately the metal tag is long gone, so I'm not sure of the part number for the Weber; but I assume that this is the same carb that was on the manifold when I got the car ('79).

The car seems to run fine with both the manifold and the carburetor (I know that some older manifolds don't play nice with the newer engines, mine is a 711M block); but I'm considering swapping out the carb with a 32/36 for a little bit more grunt. Thoughts?

PS: Where did you get the part listing from? I've got numerous workshop and mechanical reference manuals for a variety of Escort models and couldn't find it listed anywhere...
