Wiggy for the smaller parts I blast them in a cabinet blaster however need something larger to do the rest of the body, alternately find someone local to blast it.
Is your ebay blaster the type with the pressurised sand tank?
A V8 would be nice for the sound, would probably need to be a Toyota for the lower capacity, I prefer to keep with Ford hence the V6, would be something different also.

My blaster has a pressurised tank with much larger fittings at the base so when condensation happens it doesn’t clog. An extra valve at the top to regulate the top pressure and a special lance out of 3/4 copper pipe that’s 1 meter long. I can point and shoot a good meter and a bit away and see what’s happening all the time.
Worked all of that out after sandblasting the under side of a V6 and hurting every step of the way.
You can still engineer a V8. Harder but possible.

After removing the heater unit I noticed rust under the plenum, so more drilling and picking to get that off. Should be a straight forward repair. Will probably bolt the plenum back on as I always regretted welding the one onto my Escort.

Has anyone had success fitting air conditioning other than the ugly under dash unit to their Capri?

I put a vintage air one in - - passengers side - but had to delete the recess on the parcel shelf

How did you mount the compressor and where did you get the right dual belt balancer?

Took the shell to have it blasted during the week. Not too many surprises under the paint.

Shell cleaned and epoxy primed.
Time now to practice panel beating so working on getting the roof straight, had 11 dents just on one side!

Good to see it progressing. That wheel well would be the biggest hassle to weld in - for me

How are you finding beating the roof with all the supports in the way. It’s royal pain in the backside for me. I’ve got one massive dent rear quarter where the lead wipe and seam is. Can only think cutting out beating and rewelding will work in that section. Looking great and a proper job.
