Hi all.
I have just removed my throttle arm to allow me to use a cable instead, however have discovered that the pedal now has nothing to attach to. I have just seen a thread regarding heating and bending the arm. Is this the only option and then attach a cable to the arm? I am running a 1600 crossflow with a single 45 dcoe. Can the arm be cut to allow the pedal back on the box without it going into the engine bay or is there an alternative to using the arm? ANy other options?
Many thanks
Gerard

need to do something like this, basically a rod that comes off the main shaft for the cable to be secured to.
I need to do this to my 100e shortly.

Thanks Spanner. Looks like I may have to reinstall the arm and work out a way of fitting the cable to it, similar to the set up in your second picture.

The second pic looks like a escort group 4 style pedal. Could always make your own pedal up from 10mm rod if the mods to the std one don't agree .
I have an Anglia waiting to be completed and I've looked at this minor problem. .. Thort to use an escort pedalbox but kept it anglia. Let us know how you go about it..
