Would a Panhard rod installed with 2 bushes, being considered as sacrificial, needing more frequent
replacement effectively preserve/extend the life of a complete set of expensive poly rear spring
bushes,  be cost effective.??? … Also improve rear end stability/drive ability.??? … Cheers Geoff

"the most important part is when doing up the bolts you must have the suspension sitting in the 'road position' or the bushes will already have load on them when the car is on the ground.  I usually refit the leafs with the bolts loose then put ramps under the back wheels before tightening them up."
 
I did this wrong today. Is it enough to loosen the nuts and tighten again with car on the ground?
