Are these a larger version of the UK RS rims? This works though, large guards, probably tubbed.

i think your biggest problem is the original rolling radius is smaller than a 17 inch rim itself without tyres, asking for defects. stick with 15's

A 4-door for you

I thought the red one looked familiar - it's for sale on Gumtree at the moment.

Thats my escort in the link up top

Ive got 17x7 on the front and 17x9.5 on the back...
The fronts fit easy enough and the back is mini tubbed

Personaly if i didnt tub the back and run wide wheels with good dish i wouldnt hav run 17s i would hav stuck with the 16x7s all round...

Theres a candy red mk2 2 door down south with 20" rims on it but it looks wayyyyy out proportion

my limit would be 17s....

that looks on the money to me, nice work OT.

Any more info/pics?
I'd happily add it to the shed, even if it had an 1100 fitted.
Bet it doesn't though.

Its going to make my planned 15x7's look wimpy in comparison.

Hehe, of the rims get too big, the car will become a Pimp my Ride with bag suspension bouncing in the carpark lol, or it can be a 4wd by the looks of it.
The above pic is right on the edge of wheel biggness, no bigger .. Just hope it doesn't have CD size rotors behind them 🤣,
