Sorry they are a bit aged. Also, i decided to blank out the engine and sido numbers for the sake of privacy. Theres also a bit of a "twist" with one cars engine being swapped into a regular v6 to satisfy a customer complaint. If you find a v6 that was built in 11/72 theres a fifty percent chance its an uprated one as was mentioned elsewhere that only about 22 v6s were built in nov 72. If you think youve found one just email me and i will verify the numbers. Even if you just see an engine with the prefix ck17me check it out as the "me" part means the car it came from was built in nov72. Cheers,...ron.

RB30 jet, yeh dont worry ive had that nightmare but it was just a dream. Actually, with everything removed the bare shell isnt that heavy, maybe about 200kg. I just lifted it myself one end at a time while my son put a trestle under.[^] Now that its on the jig working on the shell is a breeze.

Above are some pictures of the heater refurbishment. I know, not as exciting as fitting triple webers or something but necessary work nonetheless. My blower motor wasn't so good, so rather than try and repair it i was able to get another heater complete. Then i selected the best parts of the two. Materials i had to buy were 1. door draught strip foam. 2 Thin foam sheet. 3 Silicone. 4 quickgrip glue. Then it was just a Matter of cleaning up the metal parts and spraying with cold gal. And reassembly.

Make sure you thoroughly check the wiper motor while youre in there as it is swine to get to when the car is assembled. Good work with the heater too

Hey Ron, I was over at Whoolis and looked in the engine bay of his MK1 escort,, low and behold ther is a silver and blue BSS Stilwell Ford sticker in there with a hand written stock number. The sticker is about half the size of a business card. Do you have one of these? Maybe we could photograph it before he car goes

Yes John, that sounds interesting. Please get a digi photo and a measurement. What is the number on it? If its 3300 its the dealer number.
