Ron its going back about  20 year ago, but sure.
I have the owners handbooks, first reg 9/2/73, LJT-301. sold to  a Geelong company only 10km from me.
V6 obviously, manual, mustard color, high back, black interior, gt bonnet with blackout and GT locks, and rostyle rims.
Car all complete, was a daily drive, still registered. Paintwork was as expected for a daily workhack, but car still ran fine.
Ít had usual dints, rusted pillars but was generally semi tidy, maybe 6/10?
Sold to a local that I know, but haven't caught up with for a year or so. He has a number of capris, many in storage.
I believe this car is just put into his shed with the others.

From the above, I kept the rostyles, bonnet,gt console, parcel shelf. I expect it will see light again, as current owner now knows it was one of the 'specials'' , but then we know all Capris are special to us.

Thanks Deano,
its good to have info in print by someone in the know. I knew there was a mustard colour one, this must be it.
Also there is a written off one ,CK17ME34032P.
So that accounts for seven cars which leaves five to go. Still a good chance of finding more, please keep looking.

With the Capri 50th celebration being planned for Wagga in 2019, Im wondering if we can gather as many of the "Last 11" as we can and have a special row just for them.  I know of at least 4 that will be able to be driven there.

There is a movement building up a head of steam to hold the 50th Anniversary at the Lake Hume Resort, out of Albury, where the Cortina Club has held its last two major events. What would readers think about that location?

Terry,
I remember driving my cortina gt66 there with some friends and camping back in 69-70. Happy days.
My capri should have no trouble with the distance and should get reasonable fuel economy.
I reckon its more important that the venue suits our needs so if the hume resort is better then so be it. I dont think an extra 50k will bother any queenslanders coming.
JR.
Would be good to get these cars together again,...cheers,ron.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any data on how many Capri's were produced in which colours. Sadly, my best contact with the Ford Company, Adrian Ryan, passed away a few years back and I fear that no one in the company now has the wherewithal to explore those long forgotten days of manufacturing, unless of course, someone else as a lead or two! The challenge is therefore on!!
