The ignition needs some tweaking and the lsd diff grumbles and vibes and chirps(is that normal?) and on its maiden trip to the roadworthy guy one of the power feeds to the relays fell off. This had to be the wire to the cooling fan didn't it and the engine overheated. Fixed it on the run but it all made me very nervous, in fact when I arrived at the roadworthy guys shop I was shaking.

Also a little apprehensive of what would be said about the car.
Anyway said roadworthy guy came out, circled the car making funny noises, took note of the engine number , then wandered off to write out the report, easy as. Next I thought that the rta would cast a critical eye over the capri. Nope, only interested in the engine number. Job done!
This has taken five years of spare time from buying the car to registration day and of course there is still lots of refine ments i can make to it and yes I am pretty happy how it turned out.
Its also very satisfying to have seen the job thru to a finish, that took some determination.
It also feels like I have just completed my classic ford restoring apprenticeship.
