Gotta love new technology Are you pretty confident about the internal wastegate?

Cheers Guys:)

Luke, I dont expect any probs with the internal gate. TBH I have never come across anyone who has reached the limit of an internal gate so can only guess how that might occur, my way of thinking is that when it gets near its limit, it will cause boost spiking due to not being able to bypass the turbine wheel...Im pretty happy to have that issue!!

Cheers,
Phil.

I'd like to make as much of the turbo's capacity as possible, but anything over 500hp/430rwhp would be a bonus.

Todays effort was cleaning up the comp housing which was very rough cast compared to the old GT3076R. Garrett must have changed suppliers for the new comp housings as they are pretty average. After an hour with the flap wheel and dremel its now smoothed ready for shot blasting to even out the texture then its off to be powder coated

Its been a little quiet in the garage of late...this is the latest...I've fitted up the accusump and wired it for 3 modes of operation, it also has an idiot light built in. If the oil pressure drops enough to activate the accusump, the driver gets it from the big red light aimed right at the eyes.

I've also finally mastered itunes and can now get the albums to display properly with the cover showing for each track

TWO BIG THUMBS UP!
and that's just for the oil pressure light.
So the engine ignition spark will cut out once you loose oil pressure?

Looking fantastic phil! Do the injectors and fuel pump need uprating for that turbo? I guess a tune will tell
