The ultimatum has been delivered...must be ready for my daughter's yr 6 formal...year after next!!
The porting tool broke a drive shaft so the suspected progress stalled:(
 
Too many hours on the bike and none allocated to the old girl unfortunately...still fascinated with the idea of racing the bike, but lacking the nuts to jump into it. I have a few weeks off around the ACE250 so will pop in and see how things are progressing...should be soon with any luck;)

My car is finished (again - 2 engine builds in 2 years) and have run it once very successfully once since then. I've lost interest in riding for some reason
Focus on your car and you'll re-ignite your passion for it.

Ouch!! If I am up for an engine build again I'll run a mile!!
Ironically the car is probably the closest to being truely finished as it has ever been. Literally just has the head and rear seat trimming to be done. No doubt once it is tuned and I get a taste of it again all will be good.
 
The trouble is all the focus is on the bike...full blown mid life crisis...maybe a few years early!! Once I have the ACE250 under my belt, Im planning to semi retire from the endurance events and give Crit and Road racing a crack, maybe enjoy sandbagging in the lower grades with my lack of race history until they work out what is going on!!
 
Doing a 200km to Mittagong via Razorback, Old South Rd and Mt Gibraltar in the morning if your keen!! haha!

Its done now...and Im sitting here in one of those 'why did I go and do that for' moments...what a sufferfest!!
