I took a few pics today of some special mods to the head, these have been done for a while but I have been slack in taking pics.
The first is the coolant temp sensor mod to run the Bosch sensor that the earlier heads run...the small turbo head uses a EECIV sensor which isnt compatable with most aftermarket engine management systems.
The second and third pics are the inlet and exhaust pressure wave sensor ports. These sensors combined with one in a specially modified spark plug can in an instant provide detailed data on how well matched the engine package is and allow corrections to be made with accuracy to cam specs, turbo, exhaust, inlet tract, etc.
