Anyone interested in attending a gathering to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Sierras production?

I was thinking of somewhere around Sydney as it's within travelling distance for those on the eastern seaboard. The obvious venue for me would be the Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek, as we'd be able to setup as a group somewhere and take in the action of the Group A cars whilst we were there.

This year it's September the 4th, which as usual is Fathers Day, but hey what a way to spend Fathers Day :)

Get in touch with the organisers of mucles car masters. we approached them a couple of years back for the capri's 40th, they gave us a great display area and parade laps between racers. drop me a pm if you need a hand. O

To make it worth while I'd reckon we'd need at least 15-20 cars. We'll need some definite numbers in the next month or so, so we can start the planning proper.

So if you know of any Sierra owners out there who don't frequent the forums, let them know and see if they're keen to join us.

My YBB motor is Sept 1986 and still resides with the original internals...This does not count, but good to live the dream, ha[88]

God I really want to attend this ... dont count me out just yet. But Fathers Day and The Bride organising an overseas trip sometime in Sept could see me out. let's see what I can sort.

Linc, will your car be ready? Any other cars driving up (possibly together) from Melbourne for this?

Have we had anymore thoughts or progress regarding this??? I have just been watching some youtube vids of last years Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek & I reckon it would be a perfect location!!! Probably even get a few Group A Sierras there too.

I'm still keen to make it happen if we have the numbers to make it worthwhile. It looks like a great event and there should be some group A Sierras there amongst it all. At this stage we have expressions of interest from the following:

Matt (COS086)
Lincoln (Lincoln)
Graeme (Graeme)

Realistically need at least 10-12 cars I'd think. I will contact the 3 other guys up this way and see if they are keen.
