I am lucky enough to have seen pauls car in the flesh twice and source some of the stuff for it.
One thing none of the photos ever show up is the absolute perfection of finish and detail on this car,even his 3 RS500 road cars are on another level

Was down racing at Bathurst on the weekend and dropped into the Motor Racing Museum between races. Unfortunately only one Sierra there, one of Longhursts cars.

This is the 1988 Bathurst winner.Built by Longhurst/Gardiner with parts sourced by Mezera as Frank "still had Eggenberger scalps hanging from his belt". Was Freeport livery for ATCC and Amscar that year then subsequently Ken Mathews Caltex car run at Simmons Plains (closest car in workshop photo). (CXT #3). As stated was purchased by B&H repainted in their livery and donated to Museum

OXO # 3 chassis burnt at the stake at Lakeside '89





OXO # 1 Chassis run as Caltex in '88 3rd in ATCC '88 and won '88 Amscar.





Chassis' 1 & 2 at AIR '87. Note pre rs500 and diagonal livery on bonnet. Chassis #2 turtled at Sandown Qualy.

Got wireless up yesterday as Telstra reckon I am in the sticks.

Good news Mezz is on a truck somewhere between Cardiff and my yard and Ned is chained to the drill press ready for cleats to arrive. Has YB bolted itself together yet?[88]

Underside of the Moss Security Sierra. Looks to me like it my have originally been an xr4ti, note the full chassis rails which the Cosworths never had.





A few of the Texaco which I think is the car restored by Martin Johnson.

Dropped into the DJR workshop/museum on Saturday. Bought an autographed print of DJRs Sierra and took some photos of the car in the museum.
