No I bought it a couple of months ago so both the cars belong to me, the 500 is the quicker car, its ballistic in fact but the cosworth, which is not slow, is in perfect order and everything on it works and has been replaced with new parts including the engine, suspension and even the heater matrix. I have a bit of work to do on the 500 but within the next year it will be A1

My perfect pair would be a standard RS500 in mint condition and a RS500 Group A replica track car. Just need a bit more space and funds to start on the track car project

Thanks for that I also think a standard RS500 is the way to go but I would be interested in other peoples views, what do you say leave it highly modified or take it back to standard

Modified........It was the reason ford made them for racers to race.

Good to see it has another good home.
 
Standard is very disapointing and slower on the street than a normal cosworth.
