Coming together nicely i like the dual headlight look. How much was the bonnet?

The bonnet was about $300 I think and it arrived in reasonable condition. I ordered a second bonnet on behalf of a friend and was less happy with it but it was certainly serviceable. The guy I dealt with was worthless as was the crating and shipping companies he engaged that took over 6 months to get the parts here. I wouldn't deal with the guy ever again unless he was the only person who had the item I needed. I had previously dealt with him when I ordered the headlights which was a huge drama when he tried to rip me off and sent me items clearly different to those I had asked and paid for but I was silly enough to deal with him again. I may have mentioned elsewhere who it was but let's just say I don't like the way his Team does business. So glad I had my correspondence in writing.

A bit of small tidying up on the car since last post. Garry laid on some more primer to give it a more uniform look for now. Rear window in and hood lining partially in... quite a mission negotiating around the roll cage. The fit of the lining will be a bit rough when finished but it will be in there to suit rego purposes at least. Surprising how much difference the rear window made to the look of the car tbh.

Am a little bit happy in the pants today after getting some new bits.

I ordered a carbon fibre spoiler from Classic Small Ford but it ended up being a fibreglass one with carbon fibre laid over the top. It looked quite good so I kept it as it was mainly the look that I was going for rather than the  benefits that carbon fibre provides.

I bought some Pacemaker headers rather than going custom at this stage. Save me about $1500 and the need to take the car to another shop to sit around for weeks. Power and torque might be down by a marginal amountcompared to custom made but it's just a better way for me to go at the moment. Once I see how they fit up I will be making them black.

Hoping to get some work done on the car tomorrow and Monday. Should already have a windscreen and rear side windows in it as I type this.

Put some door glass and regulators in today and some rubbers and other odds and ends. First time seeing the car with the new windscreen. Looks like a proper car! Sort of.

Headers are a massive fail. Have to return them as they arent remotely close to going on :( Front apron needs some love prior to mounting the front spoiler.

Looks awsome mate. I like the carbon lip, very cool.
I forked out for custom extractors on mine and im glad I did. Even though it was expensive I know there up to the task and fit perfect!
When I got my car registerd it made all the hard work worth while.
Keep it up.

Cheers for the comments. Hard to keep motivated sometimes.

When I am at a point where I can have the body done nicely and then painted it will all get stripped.

Headlights went in today and the heaters mounted this week. Sway bar is off at powdercoat so the front end looks a bit borked.
