Cheers guys. I was absolutely going off when I crossed that finish line.  Took about 6 goes to get a good launch but yes, what a great result!

Thanks. Yes the breakdown is good. As you can see I was not concerned about reaction time. Just getting a good jump and that paid off. The XR5T was standard. There was also 2 modified ones there running low 14's.
I was really surprised how my times compared to many of the cars there. Plenty of cars I thought would be faster than me, running 15's.
 
There was a Mercedes G wagon (G65 AMG) as pictured below running 12's! hahahaha
 

Great to see its got the go to match the show, not that there was any doubt about that anyway... Astounded on the mercs time I'll think twice before picking a fight with one of those at the lights, lol.

Cheers Carlos. Yes I was pretty happy with the ET mate. I knew of a Datsun 1600 with SR20DET that used to run the same time, mid 14's. So I'm more than happy with how it goes. If I bolted the 4 speed back in and changed to a 3.89 diff ratio it would have a few more tenths in it. And better again with an LSD and GRP1 axles!

Nice work. How does it drive on the road? I am taking it that it should still be fairly streetable with that cam?

Thanks Damion. Still drives great on the road. Lives up to its name "ultimate road" camshaft. Good idle, good power from low down and sounds quite harmless until... :)
