I spent a few hrs on the car after work, i made pieces to fill gaps when the bulkhead was moved back to accept the top piece.









I have thie engine bay in primer now and the mods look hardly noticable !

Nice work Marty. I'm in the process of doing something similar with my Mk1 Escort, but the heater bubble makes it tricky to retain that 'factory' look. You've done well.

This is what i did this arvo, got the welds linished back and a light skim of filler to blend everything together, as Anglia4 says, like i was never there! Even my neighbour had a look and was impressed at what i done in a few days !!
The colour is only white 2pk undercoat not the final colour..which is still undecided.

Hey there Iv been viewing a few of these topics for awhile now, thought id sign up to say hi...hi, and nice work!

As a panelbeater I like to see other ppl doing resto's/mods, makes me feel like im not the only 1 haha, good build up photos! will have to share a few soon.
