This is my $50 Anglia i bought 2yrs ago, it was running fine but not very fast as the rear drums had seized solid from 8yrs of living under a tree at a place called Angle Park, north of Adelaide. I have stripped it to a rolling shell and found many, many holes where metal used to be, mainly the rear panels.
I have modded a Escort x/member, rack and struts to fit, here is some pics

I removed the std Anglia dash panel for favour of the Escort RSmk1 dash to be fitted later.

The Escort x/member modded slightly to fit.

This motor is a Duratec 1600 from a Fiesta, all alloy

These wheels are the real deal, ultimate rally rims, Revolution 4 spokes 13x7 from UK, i have 6 of them

Excellent Anglia project that one. Am liking the 1600 Duratec. And those wheels are some of the best for a classic Ford.

I'm trying to keep this a 'budget' build but its happening...the gearbox is a close ratio unit from a Capri 1600GT and the diff will stay anglia with maybe a Quaife LSD 3.77-1, i picked up this week($800)! Escort Coil over fronts, vented disks+ Wilwood 4pots and a bias pedal box !!
The shell has some scary rust in places, will see how bad when i take it to the grit blasters....might be left with a few kilo's of metal which once resembled a 105E !!

A pillar

firewall
floor
gutter rails
rear window sealing area
boot
bumper mounting rail
inner and outer rear quarters
etc etc etc

these little cars sure know how to rust!!

Here's the rear with a towbar...the plug is a 3pin house socket!!!!

woah! those are some big holes in that boot floor!!

that rail across the back where the bumper bolts into started to disappear off mine when i started to buff back the paint, i got a square one folded up in the press at work, won't have the nice curves in it but i think once its welded in and finished and painted you would never know unless you parked it next to another one.

Yeah its in a sad state!! i'll worry about that bit when i get to it
Here is some struts i worked on today, welding threads and gussets on.

This one was still smoking from the welds !!

That will stop the stubs bending any further !!

Tomorrow i'll be painting them up
