Hi Stephen. I sourced mine from eBay in the US. Hepolites and less than $150. They are new, old stock but in absolutely mint condition.

Gerry, was that a panel van, or a proper estate? If its an estate it must have been a private import, because from memory I don't believe we got them?

Could be mistaken though, either way I could be very interested in it!

I've got a 1600 I was building which Im sure could be persuaded in there, and more than an abundance of gearbox's and other running gear.

Might be difficult to get up here though, but if there's a will there's a way!

Phantom, it is definitely an estate. I also had a very rusty one nicked off my front lawn. I am pretty sure they were sold here, but could be wrong. I haven't seen any vans in WA. The estate is minus running gear and front suspension. I also doubt the diff centre is there, but the body appears solid. I was going to build it first, but the sedan came along at a good price and is an easier rebuild than the estate. I am also looking to get a MK3 Cortina but have no room for it until the estate goes. The car is in Perth, but let me know.

FINALLY...some progress. It has taken ages, but the car has been stripped out and has now been covered in primer. I have also sourced a 1600 motor and Cortina sump, so oily bits will be sorted out too. Here is a pic of the car looking very grey (hopefully it works). Next step is block it back and reapaint it in close to the original colours...light blue with a white roof. Then oily bits, then hopefully registered. Target is to have it at the All Ford Day in WA in October.
