Did you modify your mates rear beam to make it 6 degree's yourself?
If so was it hard? Reason I ask is I have been considering having mine done. but didn't know what it involved.

Just awesome mate. Nice to finally see your car. Are those cage pics fairly current? You got some work ahead of you putting that interior back in!! Got some pics of the motor there? I bet its pretty too.
Mate I am trying to hide my excitement with my brakes but after seeing yours..... HURRY THE HELL UP!! Hahaha!! They look unreal! Those bell hats and brackets are sweet!

Cagework looks good, are you putting plate before you weld the tube onto the strut towers?

Felbie - yes modified it with a mate (Paul B) we made a jig to mount the standard beam at standard ride height (18degrees). Then some measurements and went from there. Put it all into a suspension program and measured the jig with a farrow arm. Then some autocad and some lasercut plates - then lots of welding.

Also made the jig fit the 8.8 diff so could modify the beam to fit that aswell.

BigGav - Cage pics were done on Thursday. Interior is pretty basic - just some harnesses, dashboard, race seats and carbon. Going to spray it all white. How are your brakes going? Engine is not assembled yet.

RSWEPN - does it need plate? I have lots and lots of piccies of sierra cages and not many are plated in that area. Or are you referring to a particular regulation? I thought cams only require plate on main hoop and front legs?

I think you might need to sandwich the rear legs near the rear wheel wells.
It's looking great, it should be fun once your done.

Nah, not referring to any regulations, just a few cages i have seen all have plates where they mount to thin metal.
