now its paint colors to get the axe
i was talking to my engineer last week regarding the van project, and we were discussing final colors to paint it.
Being a bit unique with the bubbles, I had decided to go a vibrant lime, one of the original Ford pastel colors of the era.
Apparently now, come July 1st, new 'classic' vehicles being registered will automatically fail if the paintwork isnt a form of metallic, basically, inline with current vehicle paint technologies.
The idea is that the pastels were too bright, and lead to distraction on the road, not like the more muted std whites,greys and black cars we see everywhere.
Looks like its Alpine white then :(
