K mac tops tension? street- semi race

hey guys ive just bought and installed 2L struts - Koni shocks /King springs with K mac tops, into my Mk2 escort van that was a 1600 but now with a 2ltr, rebuild the 1600 struts with pedders shocks and lowered king springs, but something wasnt right, bounds everywhere so i finally bought some second hand 2ltr  struts with Koni shocks /King springs and Kmac street - semi race tops
 
my question is what tension should i do on the top nut of the shock to top mount? or the standard specs will do from the manual
