another capri

sold 6 of my capris - but brought 4  - 3 of them from wagga for 22k.
The first one arrived from wagga - finished in dark blue. its quite a nice car with no rust or big hits - in fact a very nice shell. all of the lines and dimples are there. She starts and runs nice. Ill finish it and sell it.

interestingly it was originally wild plum with a dark red interior....

the other 2 v6's are apparently quite good as restorers - very clean in fact and come with a lot of parts inc clean v6 bonnets, front bumpers etc - turned out to be a good deal...

I find the key is to have no life .
And to devote what remains to searching for obscure cars so you can find the hidden gold .
Works for me anyway and the mrs hasnt left me yet .. did i say yet ?

    Thanks jr
Yes bit of a risk but looks a good deal
The blue one has a custom interior which initially turned me off but it has been nicely done. I might just apply another colour to the blue sections
It would have been interesting as a wild plum with the red interior but too much work now

I also scored this one - which is going to contribute to my next weird capri project!

Sad thing about living in far north QLD, very hard to find old cars.  had a Mk 1 Escort appear the other week, by the time I heard about it , it was gone!  $5K for a rusty ****box, even though it was complete.

Seriously where did you see these to buy them? Really interested in that answer bearing in mind JR knew about them too.
I’m sure you don’t need anymore but I’d like to be you sometimes Stefan. Blue one looks great so would love to some more pics of the others when you get time. All the best hope you had a great Xmas.

They were on eBay for 10 days
    25k buy it now
    Or 22k starting bid
Took a risk and put 22 on at the end
He said there were 86 peopl e watching
Yes it is a nice shell. The only decent hit has been to the passengers guard - sent the wheel into the floor. No big deal, I can't b bothered fixing their repair to the floor - which is a bit ordinary
I replaced the shocks, fuel pump, water pump etc - they have been sitting a while ( I buy stuff when it comes up cheap and keep it for times like this
