Wanted: RS2000 Mk2 2door

Im looking to buy an RS2000 Mk2 2door in very good to mint condition. Must have matching numbers engine.
Big ask....I know!
Not looking to low ball anyone. Will pay a small premium for a worthy example.

    I agree with what you say Glenn, after all you are a bit of a guru when it comes to Escorts/Capri's....but I do believe there are some worthy example out there - but as you say their owners are reluctant to part with them. Not sure about a blank cheque....as most Mk2 owners Ive spoken to (though they would be after the highest price possible if selling) are realistic about values.
     
    I was hoping to flush out potential sellers from this forum. So let me know if you are considering parting with your RS2000 Mk2.
     
    In the meantime, I'll just wait for the right one to come along. Thanks for your advice.

    I've seen at least three tidy examples for sale in the last 12 months, plus a few roughies.
    They do pop up. Keep a close eye on the forums, online classifieds & boostcruising. Same old story- early bird gets the worm.

    I wasn't patronizing....I was sincere in giving you a compliment. I've been lurking on this site for a while now and you are very knowledgable.
